Disney is still one of my families favorite vacation spots. Even though there are things I hate about Disney, which you can read here, it’s still our go to vacation. Over the years, I have learned a lot about the parks, like what not to buy at Disney, Disney restaurants worth skipping and not skipping, and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique tips. One thing I have learned over the years is what you actually need to bring with you to Disney.
It’s not fun to travel to your vacation spot only to realize you should have packed something you didn’t. Here are 10 Items You Will Want to Bring to Disney:
- First Aid Kit/ Medicine Kit: Band-aids, thermometer, tweezers, nail clippers, adult & children pain reliever, Immodium, Tums, diaper rash cream, Neosporin, leftover antibiotics, ear drops, along with any medicine you use on a semi or regular basis such as allergy medicine.
- Comfortable Shoes: It’s okay to pack cute (aka uncomfortable shoes) for dinner or wearing around the Boardway, but make sure to pack enough comfortable shoes to get you through the parks. I made sure to pay 1-2 pairs of UGGS and walking shoes that I could alternate each day.
- Socks: Pack enough socks to not only cushion your feet to help them not get so sore, but also to change if your feet get wet from rain, a ride, or sweat.
- Toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, bar soap or body wash (sample bottles don’t get you very far and they are fun to take home and share or use later), toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, face wash, hairbrush, comb, bows, pony tails, ribbon, sanitary napkins, tampons and whatever else you need that is toiletry related
- Makeup: I’m a big believer in trying to look good while at the parks, especially if you purchased the Memory Maker.
- Panchos: Have them ready just in case. They are too expensive to buy at the parks.
- Disney Apparel: When at Disney, dress Disney from head to toe. Before buying overpriced Disney apparel at the parks, go to Kohl’s, Target, or Amazon for some cute selections. During our last trip to Disney, I purchased 3-4 Disney themed leggings from Kohls. They were so much fun to wear. I purchased a lot of Disney t-shirts to match from the stores I listed above, in addition to Hot Topic. I never knew until recently that Hot Topic sold Disney apparel.
- Snacks/Drinks: Unless you purchase the Disney Dining Plan, it’s a good idea to purchase and bring enough snacks and drinks to get you through your days at the parks.
- Backpack: You need a lightweight but durable backpack that can carry everything you need to bring inside the park. I avoid carrying my purse so that I am not stuck holding everyone’s stuff. If I pack a backpack, then everyone can take turns carrying the backpack.
- Seasonal Items: Depending on when you go to Disney, will determine what you need to bring. Sunblock, bug spray, light jackets, gloves, scarves, sunglasses, and a swimsuit are just a few seasonal items you may need to bring.
BONUS— You will also want to bring a portable charger. These are a must have because, for whatever reason, my families phones always lose their charge extremely fast while at Disney. My favorite portable charger is the myCharge HubPlus Portable Charger. I love this portable charger because not only does it charge up to 3 devices at one time but it also has a built-in universal USB port so it charges any USB device. Take a look at what myCharge has to offer you. There is a lot of amazing type of portable charges and other items that they provide. Go ——> here <—– to take a look.
Before you go to Disney, make sure that you have all of the essentials so that you can have a fabulous trip without having to spend extra money on items you forgot and realized that you needed. What are other items you need to pack when visiting Disney?
