I love making special treats for my girls.
Even though they are not always the healthiest treats or even healthy at all, it makes me happy.
Some of their favorite treats that I made them have been Cheesy Garlic Butter Crescent Rolls, Lemon Cheesecake Bars, and Air Fryer Oreos.
Since I had an abundance of apples and Bisquick, I decided to recreate my Air Fryer Caramel Apples but not in the air fryer.
I decided to make Cinnamon Apple Bites in a very unhealthy way, deep-fried.
But they turned out delicious!
Cinnamon Apple Bites Ingredients:
- Bisquick plus ingredients needed to make the smallest serving of pancakes (milk & egg)
- Apples
- 1 teaspoon of Cinnamon
- Powdered Sugar
- Oil
Cinnamon Apple Bites Steps:
- Prepare pancake mix according to the Bisquick instructions
- Stir in the cinnamon to the pancake mix
- Slice apples
- Coat apples in the prepared pancake mix
- Heat oil
- Place coated apples into the hot oil
- Remove when golden brown
- Place on a wire rack
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar
- Serve warm
