I absolutely love corn on the cob.
It is one of my favorite vegetables to eat but unfortunately, it is not the easiest vegetable to make.
We’ve always grilled our corn on the cob and in my opinion, it can be very time-consuming. You have to soak it in water, peel back the husks to remove the silk but keep some husks and more. In addition, after you take it off of the grill it is a huge mess.
For this reason, I have often avoided serving corn on the cob to my family.
Amazingly, however, after I purchased an air fryer, I discovered that you can use the air fryer to make corn on the cob.
Being able to make corn on the cob in the air fryer amazed me.
I could not believe how easy it was and how you only needed a few ingredients.
- Ears of corn (the number will depend on how big your air fryer basket is)
- Butter
- Garlic salt or seasoning of choice
- Nonstick spray
- Remove the corn from the husk
- Remove the silk, and rinse the corn
- Lightly spray the corn with nonstick spray
- Sprinkle garlic salt on corn & rub in
- Place corn in the air fryer basket, leaving space between corn (do not pile the corn or squeeze in)
- Cook on 400 degrees for 10 minutes, but rotate corn halfway between cooking
- Serve with butter if desired
