Is Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Worth It

Over the years my girls had the opportunity to experience Walt Disney World’s Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.

Each time they absolutely loved it and walked out looking and feeling like their favorite princess.

As their mom, I loved watching my girls get the Royal Treatment. The smiles on their faces were priceless and their hair and makeup looked fabulous.

Of course, when my girls were enjoying the princess treatment from Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique I took a lot of pictures and since I purchased the Memory Maker, their personal Disney photographer took a lot of amazing pictures also.

Even with the amazing memories and experiences that Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique created, I have to ask myself if I would spend the money and time on Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique again and if Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is really worth it.

When I visit Walt Disney World, my main focus as a mom is to make sure my kids are having their best life. I focus on their happiness but also hope that I am making the right decision as a parent and a vacation planner. Since Disney is very expensive and I have to carefully plan my families time at Disney I have to ask myself ‘Is Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Worth it?’.

Time– The entire Bibbibi Bobbidi Boutique experience takes around 2 hours. The 2-hour window includes leaving your resort early enough to get to the Magic Kingdom, finding the salon, getting your little princess the Royal Treatment and then having pictures taken afterward in the little boutique around the corner if you purchased the Memory Maker. When you are at Walt Disney World, every minute counts because there is so much to see and do. It’s important to ask yourself and family if 2 hours spent at Bibbibi Bobbidi Boutique is worth it?
Flexible- You can make your reservation to Bibbibi Bobbidi Boutique up to 180 days. It is important that you plan on a day and time that fits your schedule and call as soon as possible to make your reservation. Unfortunately, spots fill up fast and if you are set on a specific date and time, you may be disappointed. If you are not flexible with when Bibbibi Bobbidi Boutique can schedule your child then Bibbibi Bobbidi Boutique may not be worth it.
Expensive- Like anything that is Disney related, it is no surprise that Bibbibi Bobbidi Boutique is expensive. If you have one child the expense may not be as damaging to your pocketbook, but if you have multiple kids then the price is going to hurt! You have to decide if the cost of Bibbibi Bobbidi Boutique is worth it or the money would be better spent at another activity at Disney.
Weather- The weather can make or break a trip to Bibbibi Bobbidi Boutique. Oftentimes, the rain will sporadically and unexpectedly arrive when you are at Walt Disney World in Florida. In addition, in the summer, it can get very hot. With this said, your child may become uncomfortable with thick amounts of hairspray in their hair and the rain may damage their style. Since you have to reserve your Bibbibi Bobbidi Boutique experience at least 6 months in advance, you cannot predict the weather, so you will basically have to take a chance.
Headaches- I promise when your princess has completed their time at Bibbibi Bobbidi Boutique they will look amazing but most likely they will have a headache from their hair being brushed, pulled and styled into a tight bun. If your child does not do well with having this done to their hair, then you may want to reconsider Bibbibi Bobbidi Boutique because they will end up with a huge headache and headaches and Disney do not mix.

Bibbibi Bobbidi Boutique at Walt Disney World can be a wonderful experience for your little princess. The staff does an amazing job with pampering your princess and this creates wonderful memories for the parents and kids.

It is important, however, to ask yourself if Bibbibi Bobbidi Boutique is worth it. Make sure that your kids are mature enough to handle the Bibbibi Bobbidi Boutique experience and that as a parent you are mentally and financially ready to handle it as well.
