As a mom, I am always trying to find ways to become not only a better businesswoman but a better mom and a better human. Life moves so quickly that we have all been guilty of living day by day and not trying to better ourselves but if we want to grow as humans we cannot allow this to happen. I love books that inspire and motivate you to become a better person, a better mom or better at your everyday job. Over the years I have been lucky enough to be able to read some really great books that are motivational books for men and women.

Motivational Books for Men and Women

  • Winning Her Business– I have been in sales for most of my adult life, so I love this book. This book is an eye-opener for bringing to the limelight how women drive a majority of the consumer spending. It provides sales tips along with motivational stories from other companies.

  • Limitless: How to Ignore Everybody, Carve Your Own Path, and Live Your Best Life– What is success? Who says what determines success and what doesn’t? This book talks about how we, as individuals, can and should define our own success.

  • Happier Human– For some, to be happy seems easy but to others, they might need some ideas or encouragement on how to happier than they are. Even if you are happy, are you at your happiest?

  • The 5 Love Languages of Children– Being a parent is not always easy, especially when you have more than one child. I have 3 girls and they are 100% different from one another, especially when it comes to their behavior. The 5 Love Languages of Children is extremely eye-opening and is the perfect book to help motivate and teach parents how to show each of their kids the love language that fits them the best.

  • Girl, Stop Apologizing– This book is on my ‘to read’ list. Remember that just because you are a mom, does not mean that you cannot have dreams and fulfill these dreams. This book sounds amazing.

As humans, it is important that we do not become comfortable in our everyday lives but instead grow and learn each day. Motivational books are the perfect way to encourage ourselves, learn and become better people.
