Since every day in the House of Fauci’s is like Valentine’s Day, my husband and I normally don’t celebrate the day of Valentine’s Day, but we make sure to keep it fun for the girls. I love making them fun and colorful Valentine treats that they can enjoy. This year I wanted to make them some pretzel rods dipped in chocolate sprinkled with some fun Valentine candies, but after my first attempt at making these, I failed. After my huge Valentine pretzel rod failure, I decided to change it up and make Sweet & Salty Valentine Bark.
Sweet & Salty Valentine Bark was much simpler to make and it came out too cute. This is also the perfect recipe to have little hands in the kitchen help you prepare and make. Sweet & Salty Valentine Bark takes only a few ingredients: 1 bag of White Candy Melts, wax paper, pretzel rods, and candy pieces.
Valentine Bark only takes a few simple steps. The first step is to melt the white chocolate in a bowl. As the chocolate is melting, line a square pan with waxed paper. After the chocolate has melted, spread the chocolate evenly onto the waxed paper, crush the pretzel rods into pieces, and then decorate with the Valentine candies and pretzel pieces. After this is done, place the pan in the freezer for around 20-30 minutes and then once the bark is frozen, break it into pieces.
