Whenever I have people visit San Antonio they always ask me where they should eat breakfast. John T Floore Country Store
One of my favorite things to do is to drive through small towns and find interesting shops and eating establishments. On this day we were in Helotes, Texas; a small city right outside of San Antonio, Texas. As we entered the city I saw the coolest country store that had an awesome truck parked outside of it and signs, all kinds of signs posted on and around the building. Hart’s Firehouse BBQ
Over this past weekend we were driving home from Dallas down 281 and our tummy's were rumbling so we began our search for a non chain restaurant. Mi Tierra Restaurant and Bakery
Each time my family visits San Antonio's Historic Market Square I always make sure to stop at Mi Tierra Restaurant and Bakery. I absolutely adore Mi Tierra for two reason; their ambiance and their bakery. Mi Tierra is decorated Christmas year round.
