Rice is a staple at the House of Fauci’s. It is one of the few side dishes that I could eat almost every day. I think the reason that I absolutely love rice is that you can mix it up and create amazing dishes with it. Just for fun, I thought I would share with you 5 Simple Ways to Serve Rice.
Each week, I create a meal plan for my family that normally includes a lot of rice. Once my meal plan is made, I head to our local HEB and start shopping. One of the first things that I make sure to put in my cart is Riceland Boil in Bag Rice. I love this rice because not only is it simple to make but it is mess free and has a lot of health benefits!
A few more things that I love about Riceland Boil in Bag Rice is that it is grown by American family farmers in Arkansas and Missouri and it has an amazing amount of healthy benefits. Some health benefits to Riceland Boil in Bag Rice is that it is gluten free, sodium free, cholesterol free, and does not have any MSG. In addition, the white rice is fat-free and the brown rice naturally contains rice bran oil and both cook in 10 minutes.
Since I have such a large and active family, it’s important for me to provide them a healthy meal almost every day and since we love rice, I like to incorporate Riceland Rice into most of our meals. If you love rice like we do, here are 5 simple ways that you can incorporate Riceland Boil in Bag Rice in your family’s everyday meals.
- Rice & Beans: This is one of my all-time favorite side dishes and often times main dishes. I love to top any type of beans onto a bed of fluffy white or brown rice and then sprinkle it with a small amount of cheese. Since Riceland Boil in Bag Rice can be cooked in 10 minutes, this is the perfect meal for when you are in a hurry but want something healthy and delicious.
- Egg Rolls & Rice: This used to be my favorite meal to order when I would go to my local Chinese restaurant, but now that I’ve moved out of the big city I no longer have that luxury, so instead I make it at home. While I am at HEB I grab a few boxes of frozen egg rolls and Riceland Boil in Bag Rice and then I go home and enjoy my quick and simple Chinese food meal.
- Rice & Vegetables: A great side dish is a side of rice that is topped with a variety of sauteed vegetables, frozen vegetables, or raw vegetables.
- Rice Pudding: The end of every amazing meal needs a dessert. I like to make my girls a bowl of Rice Pudding after they finish their dinner. This is a delicious dessert that takes only 30 minutes. In the next few days I will post my recipe, so make sure to Subscribe to my Newsletter.
- Alone: Riceland Boil in Bag Rice is perfect alone. Since the rice is grown by American family farmers in Arkansas and Missouri and the rice kernels stay separate when cooked the rice is delicious all by itself.
