Anime Bento Unboxing and Review

We received our first Anime Bento Subscription Box and can't wait to get our next one.

Have you met Lexi? She is my 11-year old that loves all things anime. She lives, eats, breathes it, watches it and draws it. One of her dreams is to go to Japan and experience Anime first hand in the country that is filled with it. For Christmas, I wanted to surprise my little anime freak with an anime themed subscription box. I searched around on YouTube for some ideas on what each Japanese themed anime box contains. After watching a few videos, I decided to gift her a subscription box from Anime Bento. My daughter was pleasantly surprised and very pleased. I’d love to share our Anime Bento Unboxing and Review.

I signed up for a 1-month subscription box with Anime Bento because before I committed to a subscription box, I wanted to make sure that it was worth the cost. One thing that my daughter and I absolutely love about the Anime Bento box is that you receive an anime themed t-shirt with every box. In the December box, my daughter was very happy to receive a No Face shirt. The quality of this shirt is great and has done great with every wash.

As a mom, I was thrilled to see a book was included in the box. Of course, it’s not a normal book but it’s a Manga book! My daughter loves these and I love them because it encourages her to read.

In addition to the Manga book and the t-shirt, Anime Bento included a pair of Death  Note socks and super cute Anime Bento zipper pulls. The zipper pulls were a great addition to her backpack and her jacket.

You can’t have an anime box without including a Japanese snack. This box included Hello Kitty wafers. They didn’t last long.

I was pleasantly surprised and very happy with the items we received in the Anime Bento box. In addition, the quality of the products were spot on. Here is an unboxing video of the December Anime Bento box:

In the December Anime Bento box we received:

  • No Face t-shirt
  • Anime Bento Zipper Pulls
  • Hello Kitty Wafers
  • Death Note socks
  • Manga book
  • Anime flag (this was sent separately)

As a mom that always wants to make sure that her dollar is well spent, I was not disappointed with the cost of the Anime Bento box. I was a little disappointed that shipping was higher than expected but lately shipping has been high with everything.
