Did you know that if you put all of the coins that you collect throughout the day into a bowl or jar that you will save more money than you probably expected? This is a great way to save money for upcoming vacations, fun money, emergency fund and so much more. We used to put all of our change into a plastic bowl and hide it in our closet but now we decided to make it more eye appealing and fun and create a savings jar with chalkboard labels. The great thing about the chalkboard labels is that you can change what you are saving for.
Creating a cute Savings Jar is simple and uses only a few supplies! You will need a mason jar, acrylic paint, a paintbrush, CraftyCroc Liquid Chalk Markers and CraftyCroc Chalkboard Labels.
The first step is to squirt a few drops of paint into the mason jar. You will then start painting in an upward motion until the inside of the mason jar has completely been coated with paint. It may take up to 48 hours to dry.
Once the mason jar has dried, peel and stick a CraftyCroc label onto a smooth part of the jar.
Now for the fun part! Decide what you want to label the jar, grab a CraftCroc Liquid Chalk Marker and start writing. You can make a Swear jar, Loose Change jar for the laundry room, Vacation jar and so much more.
I am in love with CraftyCroc’s Liquid Chalk Markers and Labels. There are so many things you can do with them and the chalk markers are so bold and bright!
