I have always thought it was important to celebrate each year that our kids survive another year at school; no matter what grade it is. Celebrations can be in the form of going out to dinner, getting ice cream, a remembrance gift, a card or just something silly. I, personally, like the silly and fun gifts. Here is a simple idea for an end of school year congratulations gift for your kids.
My girls, like most kids, love candy, so I thought that instead of just giving them some candy I would write them a little note to go along with it. The most important part is to pick out the candy. You will want to make sure that as you are choosing your candy that you are also thinking of how you can incorporate the name of that candy in a cute and fun letter to your kids for the end of school year congratulations gift.
After you have selected the candy, you will then create a fun letter. This is the funnest and most creative part.
Once you have written the perfect end of school year congratulation letters, you can wrap up the candy and get ready to surprise them.
Have fun and get creative! I love to surprise my girls and my after schooler’s. If school has already dismissed for the year in your town, feel free to pin this for the next school year.
Have a super and safe summer!
Have a super and safe summer!
Adorable! I love candy cards 🙂
What a cute way to congratulate someone on a year of hard work that’s finally over! Love this idea.
Cute Idea. My kids are younger- so giving them a stack of sugar would make my summer more challenging!
Very sweet gifts. I need to remember to do this for my son’s teachers!
This is such a great idea! Pinning this!
I do end of the year gifts too. I take my daughters to Toys R Us and they pick out one toy they want. I love your end of the year gift as well Aimee!
I agree! The end of the school year should be celebrated! My grands and I love sour patch kids! 🙂
This is a wonderful time of year. Kids getting out of school. Kids graduating. Everyone looking forward to summer and beyond. I love your idea for a school’s out party.
This is so cute! I would love to make this for my nephew, but he doesn’t like candy. What kind of crazy kid doesn’t like candy?!? I’ll have to find a different kid to make it for!
This is super creative! My son isn’t school-aged yet, but this would be fun to try for teachers.
Such a cute and easy idea! I’m sure any kid would love that!
What a surprise treat for them and I’m sure they look forward to all the special things you’re doing for them. This is better than getting candy at Halloween.
That’s a fun idea. I need to start thinking about creating letters like this! So many possibilities!
cute idea. i think my kids would FLIP if i gave them all that candy at once!! LOL!
ha ha FLIP— I get it 😉
That is a really fun suprise! Hope you have a lovely summer!
I love celebrating the end of school too! This is a great idea for the kids!

That is a fun day. I like that you celebrate each grade. We do too, but not formally. I think it’s a fun/good idea to make it an official celebration like this… 🙂
I love this idea. I’m so gonna do this for my boys. I’ve never thought of doing this before. Can’t wait to put something together. Thanks for sharing!
That is an awesome idea. I love celebrating school survival.
What a cute idea. Kids love having such thoughtful gifts and mine love candy. What a nice way to kick off summer break!
This is such and amazing and sweet idea. This is adult friendly as well. So cute!
What a fun idea for celebrating the end of the school year! We always take a family trip somewhere fun the weekend that school lets out. 🙂
That is a cute idea. We usually go out for ice cream on the last day of school!
Very cute idea. I never thought of doing this. I have until June 9th so this is on my to do list. Thank you for sharing.
Very very cute – sharing – this is such a great way to say “Congrats!”
You are such a sweet mom! I wish my mom did something cool like this when I got out of school. When I have kids I wanna help celebrate with my kids too. Cool idea!
What a cute idea. Our youth did something similar for our favorite police officer.
What a fantastic idea! I may have to try this as well, my kids have had a terrible year. Bullying got so bad we had to switch their schools in March, and since then things have still been complicated. What a perfect time to celebrate when they end the year!
Oh no that is horrible! I hate to hear that.
