Family Fun at SeaWorld in San Antonio

SeaWorld in San Antonio provided me complimentary tickets in exchange that I  share my amazing experience with my readers

When you think of San Antonio you normally think of amazing food, awesome cultural and SeaWorld! When my family and I moved to the outskirts of San Antonio over 4 years ago we immediately enjoyed the food, immersed ourselves in the culture but never made time to go to SeaWorld until now! It took over 4 years before we adjusted our schedules, stopped making excuses and made the time to go to SeaWorld. I’d love to share with you our family fun at SeaWorld in San Antonio, Texas.
Family Fun at Sea World in San Antonio Texas

My family was very excited to wake up and go to SeaWorld that Sunday morning. I think I was most excited because this was my family’s first time to visit SeaWorld as a family and it was my little girl’s first time to visit. She knew nothing about SeaWorld, so I knew that she would love it.

After we entered the park, we immediately went to Guest Services and purchased All Day Dining Deals. We knew that we were going to be at the park all day and we knew that we would be hungry and didn’t want to leave the park to eat. In addition, we picked up a credit card wrist band so that any additional purchases could be made without having to dig out our cash or credit card. I loved the benefits of the All Day Dining Deals. There were so many food spots with a large variety of foods that were located throughout the park. Since our group was large, it made it easier if one person was hungry and the others were not. They could go in and quickly grab a meal while the others still explored. In addition, there was no limit that you could go through the line. We definitely got our money’s worth!

After we paid for everything, we wandered over to the Bay of Play. I think that we could have spent all day here! It is a fun, bright and colorful area for kids of all ages. There are fun rides that moms and dads can go on, in addition to a huge water pad and climbing area!

I feel like my kids, my husband and I could have spent all day at the Bay of Play water pad. It was so refreshing in the hot weather to run through the sprinklers and climb through the maze!

After we were able to drag our kids out of the Bay of Play we went and explored the rides for bigger kids. My oldest daughter rode a few of these rides and she loved them! The line was less than a 10 minute wait and the thrill of the rides was exactly what she expected. While she was riding the thrill rides, the little girls and I took the time to study the awesome statues that were located around the park. These were the most awesome statues we had ever seen. They were made from recycled trash.

SeaWorld has several shows that are guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat and a smile on your face. Sadly we missed seeing the Sea Lion show but we did catch the amazing and beautiful Azul® show. The awesome talent of the performers had us in awe. Here is a little clip of it:

If you are traveling to San Antonio, with or without kids, or if you live nearby, you should consider visiting SeaWorld. The ambiance is beautiful, the rides are thrilling and the shows are fantastic! Stay tuned for my upcoming post of our Family Fun at SeaWorld Aquatica. It’s a definite must to cool off in the middle of the day, soak in some sun and grab a margarita!
