It’s springtime and I am excited. I am not sure if I am more excited about the beautiful weather that is upon us, the extra daylight that we will get, or those brightly colored marshmallow bunnies and chicks, you know the ones. To celebrate spring, I wanted to create something fun and delicious that I knew my kids would love. Since I love to make mini pies, I decided to create Festive White Chocolate Pies.
These mini pies are so simple to make and so fun to eat. Since I was making these for spring, I wanted to add a lot of festive colors to them. These pies only need a few ingredients: mini graham cracker ready made pies, white chocolate pudding, food coloring, edible decorative pearls, white chocolate melts, chocolate chips, sugar sprinkles, and marshmallow chicks.
To get started, you will first melt 1/2 cup to 1 cup of white chocolate melts. Once they are melted, you will spread them on the bottom of the pies.
You will then follow the directions and prepare the pudding. Once the pudding has been prepared, fill the remaining pie with pudding.
To add some festivity to the pies, I decided to drop one drop of food coloring to the pie and then swirl it with a toothpick. It’s simple, it adds color, and it lets you get super creative.
Since these adorable marshmallow chicks taste even better with chocolate, I decided to dip the bottom of them into melted chocolate and then dip them into little sugar sprinkles.
The last step to these fun and Festive White Chocolate Pies is to place the chick into the center of the pie and then place the colorful edible pearls around the chick.
