Growing up, the smell of Apple Cinnamon seemed to always fill our home during the holidays. It was magical and meant that my mom was in the kitchen cooking something sweet and fabulous. To this day, I find myself filling my home with the wonderful smell of apples and cinnamon and baking some of my favorite treats from the past for my girls such as my Mini Apple Cinnamon Pies. I believe that some of the best memories come from certain smells, and I want to instill this into my girls. I’d love to share with you my simple Mini Apple Cinnamon Pies recipe to help you and your family get into the holiday spirit so that you will be able to cherish every memory that you make.

Mini Apple Cinnamon Pies

The great thing about these pies is that they are not only delicious, they are simple to make, and they take very few ingredients that include 2-3 Granny Smith Apples, 1/2 cup of sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 3 tablespoons of butter, and crescent rolls.

Apples and Cinnamon

After you clean your apples, you will peel them and then dice them into bite size pieces.

Dice Apples

You will then prepare the cinnamon and sugar mixture by melting the butter into a saucepan and then adding the sugar and the cinnamon. Stir until the sugar has dissolved and then stir in the apple pieces. Cook on medium heat and stir periodically for around 6-7 minutes until the apples are tender. Make sure to enjoy the amazing smell of apples and cinnamon.

Sauteed Apples

As the apples are cooking, line a cookie sheet with foil and spray with a non-stick spray. You will then fold out the crescent rolls and once the apples have finished cooking, put a spoonful of the mixture onto the widest part of the roll. You will then fold over the thinnest part of the roll over towards the widest part of the roll and then fold the sides over. I have taken pictures of how to fold the pies to give a better understanding of how to do it.

How to Fold a Mini Apple Pie

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees and bake for 12- 14 minutes. Remove the pies from the cookie sheet and allow them to cool for around 5 minutes. These Mini Apple Cinnamon Pies are perfect for breakfast or as a sweet treat served with vanilla ice cream.
