Very Simple Pantry Trail Mix

It’s summer and my girls seem to be eating me out of my own house. I go to the grocery at least one time a week and try to stock up on all of the weekly essentials but near the middle of the week, they get really bored with my grocery selections and cry about starving. In an effort to change things up and since groceries tend to be expensive, I like to get creative and make what I call Pantry Trail Mix. This is a super simple recipe to make, so I wanted to share it with you so your kids won’t ‘starve to death‘ like my kids.

Perfect Pantry Trail Mix

Pantry Trail Mix is quick and simple to make and it’s different¬†everytime you make it. The main ingredients that you choose to use will be based on what you have in your pantry. For this batch of trail mix, I used chocolate chips, marshmallows, cereal pieces, chocolate pieces, pretzel sticks, candy, and a cracker mix. In addition, I like to add a cinnamon and sugar mixture to the ingredients.

Pantry Trail Mix Ingredients

Once you have the ingredients in a bag, pour the cinnamon and sugar mix into the bag and shake it up. Once everything is mixed up, serve immediately or later.
