The Fourth of July is right around the corner and my girls love M&M’s so why not make some Patriotic Sugar Cookies.
This is an easy and simple recipe that is fun to make with the kids. It also has simple ingredients that are most likely in your pantry. I found the standard sugar cookie recipe at Spoonful.com. I decided to put my own twist on this cookie recipe and call it Patriotic Sugar Cookies.
Place the rolled cookie balls onto the prepped cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for around 8-10 minutes. We hope you enjoy these Patriotic Sugar Cookies.
This is such an easy and festive way to get into the 4th of July spirit. It’s a super idea!
Those patriotic cookies look amazing. I am sure my girls will have a great time baking these as well. Saving the recipe.
These look so good. I love how easy the recipe is, because we have so much going on, but these would be great even when we are busy.
Oh yum they look delicious – as a child we had an American neighbour and she made the best cookies -t they were so different than ours – looked just like these as well 🙂 x
These cookies look fantastic! I might use your idea for our last minute bake sale we have planned tomorrow.
P.S. You won my giveaway and I have no email address for you (I can’t find one on your blog either?) If you can please email me khourtniey@gmail.com

I love sugar cookies and this is a great way to put a patriotic spin on an old recipe. They look good and ready for any Fourth of July festivities.
I love sugar cookies! I have never put candies in them though. I may have to try this for our party this year! Yummy!
M&M cookies are my most favorite, love the patriotic spin!

Those are so cute! They definitely would be perfect to take to the 4th of July picnic party!
You have fake ants on your ingredients 🙂 This is a nice and simple cookie recipe. Perfect for July 4th snacks.
Those cookies look perfect for the fourth! I love any kind of cookies!
What an adorable, simple idea. I’m filing this one away in my “why did I think of that?” file 🙂
Nice, simple and looks very tasty!! Thanks for the recipe..
What a cute way to do cookies. It is so easy that I could have my Grandkids help with this.
Love simple recipes and this one is perfect. I’ve pinned.
I’m making cookies today! I’m excited as I haven’t made a batch of cookies in several weeks. These are great for 4th of July, and can definitely be easily changed using seasonal M&Ms for any holiday (Christmas, Easter, etc.). I wish M&Ms were made using natural dyes instead of artificial coloring. I really miss eating peanut M&Ms!
These are adorable! Perfect for the holiday!
Very simple recipe! Pinning right now!
Those are super cute and they would be perfect to bring along to the cookouts I have been invited to over the next week!
This is a very easy recipe. I think I may even be able to do it! Those cookies make me want some right now 🙂 Pinning to my Red, White & Blue Board 🙂
Do you have a mixer or you mixed them by hand? I tried making sugar cookies once and FAILED 🙁 These look really good! Do you send them in the mail by chance? 🙂 *bats eyelashes*
you are funny! I used to use a mixer but I am SO lazy to dig it out and then clean it after.. I just use my hand! Girl, if I didn’t think the ants would get them first, I’d send you some!
