Tiny Hearts Big Dreams

10 years ago the Duyck family started the Chloe Duyck Memorial Fund also known as ‘Hope 4 Tiny Hearts‘ in honor of their baby girl Chloe that was lost at the tender age of 4 days old to Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. Funds that are raised are earmarked for research and awareness in the area of pediatric congenital heart defects. The mission of ‘Hope 4 Tiny Hearts’ is to raise awareness and funding for congenital heart defect research, along with additional research and medical advances. The hope is that these children will experience better outcomes and survive longer; hence Tiny Hearts Big Dreams.

Hope 4 Tiny HeartsThis year marks ‘Hope 4 Tiny Hearts‘ 10th year of raising funds for congenital heart defects, so they wanted to make their 10th year big! If you are a parent, grandparent, uncle, aunt, family member or friend of a heart child visit Crowdrise.com and start a fundraiser in honor of your heart hero. Donate any amount from 9/10/14 at 9 AM ET to 10/24/14 at 12 PM ET and you’ll be entered for a chance to win a $50 Disney gift card. If you just want to donate, then you can do that also.

The Chloe Duyck Memorial Fund also known as ‘Hope 4 Tiny Hearts‘ is such an amazing organization that has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for research and awareness pertaining to congenital heart defects in children. As a mom of a child that was born with a congenital heart defect I can appreciate the hard work and dedication of this organization. Since congenital heart defects are the most common of all birth defects and are the leading cause of death within the first year of life, please share this post with your friends, family, Facebook friends and neighbors. You never know who has been affected by this disease.
