I have recently realized that I need to not only eat meals but to eat healthy meals. I used to get away with eating only a sandwich, a few snacks and a small salad that consisted of iceberg lettuce and way too much salad dressing. After a few medical tests, I was told by my doctor to increase my fiber intake, use Miralax as needed, and eat right, so I challenged myself to do this. I removed iceberg lettuce and added more spinach to my diet and made the time to create some new recipes! One simple recipe that I recently made was a Turkey and Vegetable Cabbage Bowl. This is a simple recipe that can be made with a few healthy ingredients and can also be modified.

I have always loved the taste of cabbage and the benefits of cabbage are amazing! Cabbage is a brain food, an antioxidant and provides roughage which is exactly what my doctor told me that I needed! This Turkey and Vegetable Cabbage Bowl takes very little time to make, is easy to cook and can be modified however you want.
