Before you schedule your trip to Walt Disney World you will want to be prepared.
Walt Disney World is not a vacation spot that can be scheduled at the last minute.
You have to research and plan the entire trip along with each and every day almost down to each individual hour. If you do not do this then you could potentially ruin your trip.
Take a look at these 5 things you need at Walt Disney World so your trip is a success.
5 Things You Need at Walt Disney World:
- Patience: If you do not have patience while you are at Walt Disney World you will have a miserable time. You may also create some unnecessary drama with your family, the staff, or other guests. There will be unexpected delays, bad weather, long lines, long transportation wait times, large crowds, screaming kids, your kids and more. It is important to remember that the most magical place on Earth is not always magical, so remember to breathe.
- A Plan: Whether you plan to visit Walt Disney World for one day or 7 days you will want to have a plan before you enter the parks. If you enter the parks without a plan that includes where you will eat, which FastPasses you will use, which path you will take at the park and more, you will not have used your money wisely. Without a plan, you will not enjoy your time spent at the park and you will have many regrets. Read this helpful post: What I Wish I Knew Before I Went to Disney.
- Endurance: Anyone that has ever been to Disney knows that there is a lot of walking and standing the entire time that you are there. There is also a lot of fighting crowds and walking in circles. If you are like my family, when we are at Disney we take very few breaks. With that said, it’s important to try and not only exercise a bit a few weeks before you arrive but to also pack your best shoes.
- Strength: Stay strong. There will be a lot of temptations at Disney. You know that you do not need 4 Mickey Mouse mugs, a variety of Disney t-shirts along with Disney wall art. Your kids will also try and whine their way into having you buy them every snack that they pass along with their favorite character stuffed animals. Stay strong and tell your kids and yourself, ‘No!’. Read this helpful post: What NOT to Buy at Disney.
- A Budget: It is important that when you go to Disney that you have a budget. Decide how much you plan to spend on food, souvenirs, entertainment along with unexpected things you may end up needing. You want to make sure that you have fun and are not cheap while you are at Disney but you also want to make sure that you do not spend money that you do not have.
