Thanks to the Women Bloggers and PediSand, I can’t wait to share with you how to get your feet silky smooth and cruise ready. All opinions are my own. This post also contains affiliate links. Read my disclosure here.
This spring, many of our family members will get together and go on a cruise to the Cayman Islands. This will be the first time that so many of our family members will be together for an entire week! I have to admit that I am a little nervous about this but the excitement of going on a cruise is helping to ease my nerves. Since this will be my first cruise I have done a lot of research and have concluded that there are at least 5 Things You Need When You Go On a Cruise.
I’ve not only searched online but have asked several friends and family members that have been on several cruises what they think you need when you go on a cruise. Even though there are quite a few things that you need when you go on a cruise, I narrowed it down to five.
- Camera: When you go on a cruise there are so many beautiful sites and a lot of activities. We plan on going on some excursions so we will definitely have some camera-worthy moments. Make sure that you also bring your camera charger or an extra battery. Since we will have so many family members with us, I plan on taking a lot of pictures. Most likely I will bring my Canon EOS Rebel but also a waterproof camera such as this one.
- Swim Wear: From what I have been told, when you are on a cruise, there is a lot of pool time. It is smart to pack at least 2-3 swimsuits, 1-2 swimsuit cover ups and maybe a pair of swim shorts. In addition, you need to bring a pair of proper pool shoes such as sandals.
- Dinner Clothes: While an ideal vacation, to me, is wearing a swimsuit and shorts all day, you will also need dinner dresses. Since all cruises are different, make sure that you pack the proper type of dress. Some dinners are more formal than others.
- Books: One thing that I am most excited about going on a cruise is being able to relax. I plan on bringing at least 3-4 mysteries that I would not have time to read while at home dealing with all of the chaos that comes with work. I can’t wait to read ‘That Night’ by Chevy Stevens’ along with this mystery.
- Pretty Feet: Since so much time is spent at the pool, it’s important to have pretty feet. I have always been very frugal so I avoid going to high priced salons to get pedicures and instead take care of my feet at home. In addition to making sure that my toenails are painted a bright color, I make sure to keep the bottoms of my feet nice and smooth by using PediSand.
PediSand is an amazing product that was created by nail and foot technicians. It’s easy to use especially since it’s hands-free! It has a contoured shape that allows you to treat every curve, side, and corner of your feet and toes. In addition, the large surface allows you to make your entire foot smooth in just minutes. The self-adhesive sheets are replaceable and one sheet normally lasts 6 or more months. Right now PediSand can be purchased on Amazon, along with the replacement sheets. They will soon be available to purchase in-store at Walmart and online at Walmart.com.
Have you been on a cruise? What items do you need when you go on a cruise?
Oh yes, I wish I would of had the PediSand before my beach vacation!
