5 Tips on Hosting a Stress Free Easter Gathering

This is a sponsored post written by me. All opinions are my own #HoneyBakedEaster

Easter is upon us and in my home we love to celebrate this day for so many reasons. The celebration of Easter brings together family, friends, new traditions, and new memories. For the past few years we have extended our Easter celebration to not only include our family but to include our friends as well. We believe the more people that gather with us, the better; however that can lead to more stress. So over the past few years I have learned a few ways to prevent and alleviate some of the expected stress that may come along with large gatherings. Here are my 5 tips on hosting a stress free Easter gathering.

Tips on Hosting a Stress Free Easter Party

1- If your Easter gathering will include kids and you plan on having them dye, paint and decorate Easter eggs, then it is a good idea to boil your eggs the day before your Easter gathering. Since you will be cooking for so many people, your kitchen will be very busy and there will not be any room to boil eggs or time to let them cool down. Another idea is to ask each guest with kids to bring at least 5 hard boiled eggs per child that they will be bringing with them. This will not only save you time but a little bit of money.

2- Another time saving tip is to serve HoneyBaked Ham for your Easter meal. HoneyBaked Ham has so much to offer. They offer delicious ham, turkey, as well as other delicious meats. There meats are flavorful, moist, and tender. In addition, they offer perfectly cooked sides such as cornbread dressing, cinnamon apples, macaroni & cheese, green bean casserole and so much more. HoneyBaked Ham offers something for taste buds of all ages. So instead of spending stressful hours in the kitchen, consider ordering your meal from HoneyBaked Ham so you can have more time enjoying your company and the holiday.

3- While you are prepping the meal you could consider having the kids dye, paint and decorate the boiled eggs. Doing this will keep the kids busy and out from under your feet.

4- If you are planning on having an Easter egg hunt at your gathering, have guests bring 10 filled eggs per child. Then make sure to let the kids know that when the hunt begins to only grab 10 eggs so that everyone has a chance to enjoy the fun. This will save you time, money and will definitely alleviate the stress of preparing and organizing the Easter egg hunt.

5- I believe that desserts are the most important part of the meal because they tend to bring happiness to your senses. A great stress free idea is to go to the HoneyBaked Ham store and choose from a wide variety of desserts that range from cakes, pies, puddings and so much more. The HoneyBaked Ham desserts are incredibly moist, fresh and delicious. Once again there is a wonderful variety that there is something to please everyone.

Easter is a holiday that brings families and friends together. It should not be a stressful time but a time that you can create fun and happy memories. If you choose to alleviate some of your holiday stress by ordering from HoneyBaked Ham, here is a $5 off any purchase of $50 or more, but make note offer is valid from 3/14 to 4/4/15. Must present coupon at time of purchase to receive offer. May not be combined with any other offer. One coupon per person at participating retail store locations. While supplies last.
