Lately, I have incorporated more chicken into my meal planning.
I am trying to better the health of my family with what I provide for them at dinner and one way is serving more chicken.
Unfortunately, my kids have complained that chicken has gotten boring and that they are quite honestly, tired of it, so I decided to try something new.
I avoid incorporating fried foods into my family meals but knowing that my family enjoys an occasional piece of fried chicken I wanted to make a chicken recipe that was healthy-ish and one that had a crunch.
After researching a lot of chicken recipes I found one that was simple to make and used only 3 ingredients, plus the chicken, so technically 4 ingredients.
- Chicken tenders, I used around 10 pieces of this recipe
- 1 cup of Italian Bread Crumbs
- 1 cup of freshly shredded parmesan cheese
- 1 cup of Hellmann’s Mayonnaise
There are only a few simple steps to this Parmesan Crusted Chicken recipe:
- Combine mayonnaise and parmesan cheese into a medium-size bowl, stir
- Lather each piece of chicken with the mayonnaise and cheese mixture
- Place the chicken in a baking dish and sprinkle both sides of the chicken with the bread crumbs
When you are ready to cook the Crusted Parmesan Chicken you can cook it however you prefer.
I was going to bake the chicken but instead opted to use my —-> George Foreman Grill <—– to ensure that it would have a crunch after it cooked completely.
It turned out perfect! I cooked the chicken for around 15-20 minutes and the texture and moistness of the chicken were amazing.
If you prefer to bake the chicken, then preheat the oven to 450 degrees for around 30 minutes.
