‘Tis the season to bake and surprise your loved ones with treats and sweets. I love this time of year because I love to be in the kitchen and experience the smells of the holidays, but sometimes I don’t have much time to bake. When I want to create something fun in the kitchen, but don’t have much time, I like to make bark. Bark is not only easy to make but it allows you to get creative. Since it’s almost winter, I decided to make my White Chocolate Cranberry Bark.
White Chocolate Cranberry Bark uses only a few simple ingredients: white chocolate melts, craisins, chocolate chips and fun gingerbread candies.
The first step is to melt the white chocolate melts. Before I place the melts into a bowl, I spray the bowl with nonstick spray so that clean up is much easier. I used around 2 cups of melts, microwaved for 45 seconds, stirred and then microwaved until the melts were completely melted.
As the white chocolate is melting, you will want to place a sheet of wax paper into the square pan and then pour and spread the melted chocolate into the prepared pan.
Next you will add the craisins, chocolate chips, and gingerbread candies. Once this is done you will freeze for an hour.
After the bark has frozen, you will break it into pieces. You can go large or go small, it is up to you.
Ingredients
- 2 cups white chocolate melts
- 1/2 craisins
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- Gingerbread candies
