Slow Cooker Dr Pepper Pulled Pork

I absolutely love pulled pork. 

There are many different methods on how to make pulled pork. 

I opt for the quick and easy method, which basically is using the slow cooker. 

I love preparing meals for my family using the slow cooker. 

Here are some of my favorite slow cooker recipes: Big Red Pulled Pork, Fiesta Chicken, and Quinoa Festive Chicken

Since my Big Red Pulled Pork was such a hit with my family, I decided that I would make them Slow Cooker Dr. Pepper Pulled Pork. 

We love Dr. Pepper and I knew that it would create a sweet flavor to the meat and make it tender. 

Slow Cooker Dr. Pepper Pulled Pork Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds pork loin roast center cut boneless
  • 1 cup bbq sauce
  • 1/2 onion, sliced
  • 1 1/2 cans of Dr. Pepper
  • Seasoning of choice, I used bacon salt

Slow Cooker Dr. Pepper Pulled Pork Steps:

  • Add all ingredients to a slow cooker
  • Cook on low for 7 hours
  • Serve with a bit of sauce poured over the meat

Slow Cooker Dr. Pepper Pulled Pork is one of the easiest meals that I have made for my family. 

It is perfect for any time of the year, but most perfect during the busy times of the year. 

You can eat this dish alone, topped on a baked potato, or put between two pieces of sandwich bread.
