My girls, especially my youngest, loves to eat crescent rolls.
Since I have a picky eater, I try to find ways to incorporate these into our meals.
Last week I made the girls Crescent Rolls Sandwich Pinwheels. They were a quick and easy meal to make and a nice change to regular sandwiches.
My girls enjoyed them so much that I knew I had to come up with another meal that used crescent rolls.
Since my girls love pizza and they love crescent rolls, I decided to combine the two and make them Crescent Rolls Pepperoni Pizza Pinwheels.
The great thing about Crescent Rolls Pepperoni Pizza Pinwheels is that you can change the ingredients to fit your family’s tastebuds.
Crescent Rolls Pepperoni Pizza Pinwheels Ingredients:
- 1 (8-oz.) tube crescent roll dough
- Pizza sauce
- Pepperoni slices
- Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- Fresh parmesan cheese, shredded
- Spinach, optional
- 5 tablespoons melted garlic butter, I used Chef Shamy Garlic Butter
- 1 tablespoon chopped oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon chia seeds (optional)
Crescent Rolls Pepperoni Pizza Pinwheels Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Spray a cookie sheet with nonstick spray
- Roll out the crescent roll & divide into half, do not separate the triangles, keep together
- Spread melted garlic butter onto the top of the crescent roll
- Add a thin layer of pizza sauce over the crescent roll
- Sprinkle a thin layer of mozzarella cheese
- Add pepperonis
- Add a thin layer of spinach
- Sprinkle the chia seeds throughout
- Add another thin layer of mozzarella cheese
- Roll crescent rolls
- Spread garlic butter on the top of the rolled crescent rolls
- Sprinkle oregano on top
