Bisquick Pizza Casserole

If you follow the House of Fauci’s, then you know that our family loves pizza.

I stopped ordering pizza for the delivery because quite honestly, it is never as good as when it is cooked at home and fresh.

Some of my kid’s favorite pizza recipes are Pizza Empanadas, Pizza Egg Rolls, Pizza Spaghetti, and the Pizza Crescent Ring

The other day my teen child insisted that I purchase a huge box of Bisquick so she could make one recipe.

I obliged and then proceeded to try and figure out how I could use the huge box of Bisquick.

I searched the Bisquick recipe site and found a Pizza Casserole recipe. I decided that this was what I would make but I knew I had to change it up a little.

Bisquick Pizza Casserole Ingredients:

  • 3 1/2 cups of Bisquick
  • 1 cup of freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 16 oz jar pizza sauce
  • 7 oz package pepperoni slices
  • 1 pound crumbled sausage, cooked
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano

Bisquick Pizza Casserole Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Spray nonstick spray to a 9×13 inch pan.
  • Mix together Bisquick, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and milk.
  • Drop half of the dough by heaping teaspoons in the bottom of the pan. The pan will not be covered with dough. See Pro Tip.
  • Pro Tip: I dropped one teaspoon of dough, left an empty space, and then dropped another teaspoon of dough, etc…
  • Mix sauce and meat together.
  • Spread 1/2 of the sauce/meat mixture over the dough drops.
  • Cover with 1/2 of the cheese.
  • Repeat… Pro Tip… drop remaining dough drops in the space that you did not originally drop dough
  • Sprinkle oregano over the casserole
  • Bake for 30 minutes, make sure the dough has completely cooked through.
  • Serve
