I love pasta.
If I could only eat one type of food for the rest of my life, it would be pasta.
Often times I make pasta with red sauce or white sauce.
While it is delicious, I knew that I wanted something a little bit different to feed my family and they wanted a change as well.
I decided to nix the sauce and make pasta without.
I was very glad that I did because my One Pot Bacon Parmesan Spaghetti was amazing and really easy to make.
One-Pot Bacon Parmesan Spaghetti Ingredients:
- 7-8 slices of cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter (I used garlic butter)
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 cups of chicken broth
- 1 1/2 cups of milk
- 8 oz of spaghetti
- 1/2 cup fresh parmesan cheese
- 8 oz prosciutto, diced
- 1 tablespoon ranch season mix
- parsley
One-Pot Bacon Parmesan Spaghetti Steps:
- Add the olive oil and butter to a large pot
- Add the minced garlic & prosciutto
- Cook for 2 minutes while stirring
- Stir in the chicken broth, milk, & spaghetti
- Boil
- Reduce heat & simmer, stirring on occasion until the pasta is cooked through
- The sauce will begin to thicken a bit
- Stir in the cooked bacon, parmesan, & ranch seasoning mix
- Top with parsley
